We decided to go beyond our businesses to provide solutions to major global challenges in sustainability.
To achieve this, we embarked on a path to protect the jaguar, biodiversity, and forests of Latin America, large carbon reservoirs that contribute to regulating the world’s climate, while generating benefits for communities.
It is the sustainability program of ISA and its companies that seeks to support nature-based solutions initiatives to contribute to:
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.
The conservation of biodiversity and ecological connectivity through jaguar corridors.
Improving the living conditions of rural communities in the areas of influence of the projects.
Raising awareness about environmental issues through education, art, and culture.
Jaguars and pumas play a vital ecological role in maintaining ecosystem balance: they protect biodiversity, water resources, and forests. Therefore, the presence of jaguars and pumas is synonymous with a healthy ecosystem.
One of the most extensive biological corridors for the conservation of a species.
