WHAT IS THE JAGUAR PARADE?
It is an outdoor art exhibit of jaguar sculptures; its purpose is to raise funds and awareness about the importance of conserving the jaguar and its associated habitat.
At the conclusion of the exhibit, the sculptures are auctioned and 100% of the proceeds are donated to conservation efforts for America’s big cat.
The first edition of Jaguar Parade took place in São Paulo in 2019, being the largest outdoor art exhibition in the history of this city with 87 pieces.
Approximately 10 million people saw the jaguars on the streets and 100 million more were reached by media coverage.

The jaguar is considered an umbrella species, as its presence is key to the balance of ecosystems; they are regulators of the ecological dynamics of the places where they live, and their conservation ensures the well-being of other species.
Even humans would be in danger without the jaguar, as this feline provides balance to the forests and the services they provide to humanity.
50 jaguar sculptures will color the streets of São Paulo and New York for the conservation and protection of this big cat.
2022 EDITION
In September, 40 jaguar sculptures painted by talented artists will be on display at iconic locations in New York City, such as the United Nations Headquarters, the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial, the Central Park Zoo, The High Line, JFK Airport, La Guardia Airport, among others.
The event will end with an art auction, where 100% of the proceeds will go to jaguar conservation efforts.
