In 2019, thanks to the implementation of anti-predator strategies in Simacota (Santander), we promote through workshops with the community the coexistence between humans and jaguars that share territory..
Through camera trap monitoring we were able to see three jaguar specimens: two females and one male..

In the company of the Arhuaco people and with the authorization of the spiritual authorities, we conducted three awareness and environmental education workshops on the ecological importance of big felines and the management of human-feline conflict due to predation by domestic animals.
