Others associated with the reduction of pressure on forests, such as ecotourism and environmental education.
Minimum desirable areas
Reforestation: 1.500 hectares
Conservation: 10.000 hectares
Projects that have started their activities in a period of less than 4 years.
Non-existence of land restitution claims
Not being reported on international or national watch lists
For reforestation projects: Not having cut down the forest to plan
For conservation projects: Existence of forest with verifiable threat of deforestation
To be located in the strategic areas of the Jaguar Corridor and ISA's presence (Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and Peru).
In Chile, our focal species is the puma
To have the documentation supporting the ownership of the land, contracts or agreements that prove their rights over the areas.
To have the necessary resources or sources of financing to implement planting, cultivation, or conservation activities.
Authority to make decisions as owner or representative of project owners
Willingness to provide project information in an agile manner
Willingness to commit to the Program through carbon credits
Willingness to sign agreements with allies
Generate a positive impact for the environment, the community and biodiversity.
