Hidden cameras captured felines in jungles and forests in the north of the country

According to experts, the presence of these endangered animals demonstrates that their habitats are being protected.

Hidden cameras were used to record felines in jungles and forests in the north of the country. They also detected the presence of other endangered species.

This sighting is the result of ISA’s programs to protect biodiversity and combat climate change.

The images thrill scientists.  Oncillas, jaguars, ocelots and pumas are recovering territory in Colombia, as shown in these photos of wildlife in the wild, taken by Empresa de Interconexión Eléctrica ISA, in collaboration with South Pole and the Panthera Foundation in the Conexión Jaguar program.

The work is concentrated in extensive areas of forest in Tierralta Córdoba and Cimitarra, Santander, where allied farmers have also detected the presence of jaguars, which is important news for biodiversity.
